Google Business Profile management

Monthly Google Business Profile management

Monthly care for your Google Business Profile.

What this is

A profile that is set up well and then left alone slowly stops working. Photos age, questions go unanswered, reviews sit without replies, and competitors who are active look more alive than you do.

Management is the arrangement where keeping it current is somebody's job.

What you get

What a managed month covers

  • 01

    Posts

Updates on the profile itself: work you have done, something seasonal, an offer. They expire, which is why a profile with no recent posts reads as dormant.

  • 02

    Photographs

New pictures of real work added regularly. This is the part owners consistently underestimate, and the part customers consistently look at.

  • 03

    Questions and answers

Monitoring the Q&A section, which anyone can post to and anyone can answer. An unanswered question sits there, and a wrong answer from a stranger sits there too.

  • 04

    Review replies

Every review answered. The detail of that is review response management, and it is included here.

  • 05

    Watching for edits

Google accepts suggested edits from the public and from data sources, sometimes silently. Hours changed by someone else is a real and unglamorous failure mode.

  • 06

    Keeping details current

Services, hours, holiday hours and service area as the business changes.

What it costs

Quoted after a free consult, because what it takes depends entirely on what you already have. Book a call, I will tell you what is involved, and you get a number before anything starts. Website plan details are on the pricing page.

Quoted monthly, and available whether or not I built your website.

How this differs

Optimization is a project with an end date: fix what is wrong with the profile now. This is ongoing, and what it protects against is going stale and being edited by someone else.

If you would rather do this yourself, that is Google Business Profile training, and for a lot of businesses that is the better value.

This is genuinely optional. An owner with ten minutes a week can do most of it, and I will tell you that rather than sell you a retainer for work you could handle. What you are buying is that it actually happens every month.

Questions

What people ask

How many posts a month?

Enough that the profile does not look dormant, which is a lower bar than most agencies imply. Posting weekly for its own sake produces filler nobody reads.

Do posts actually affect rankings?

Direct ranking impact is modest at best. The honest case for posting is that an active profile looks like a running business to a customer comparing you with someone whose last update was in 2023.

Can I still make changes myself?

Yes. It is your profile and you keep full access. Tell me when you change something so we are not editing over each other.

What happens if my profile gets suspended?

I handle the appeal. Suspensions can happen for reasons that are nobody's fault, and the process is mostly patience and supplying the right evidence.

Keep the profile alive

Tell me what is going on and I will tell you whether this is what you actually need. No pitch deck and no pressure.
